2015 Simi "Landslide" Cabernet Sauvignon Review
Review:
We picked up this lil’ minx at the ol’ grocery store because we needed a filler for the 6 bottle discount. That's how stores getcha but don't be throwin' deals at me and expect me not to get real.
Simi sounds like some sort of Korean food that you eat alive as it screams in horrendous fear. But it's not that. It's a California producer making a wide array of wine. I've had some of their higher end wines because I like to burn money.
In da nose I got oak and bright red cherries that glisten perfectly in the Italian sun. In da mouf I got chocolate and raspberry with a decent finish of lavender.
I enjoyed this wine but you can find as good or better wines for a bit less. You won't be disappointed if you give it a whirl but again - money.
