Review:

This wine is to blame for something pretty big going on right now in the world of bourbon aged wine. This bitch right here started it. So if you wanna be mad about it get mad at these Spanish assholes.

Vino de la Tierra de Murcia is out of Spain which is funny considering it has a silly name like Southern Belle. Additionally the blend is quite interesting at 50% Mourvedre and 50% Syrah. Allegedly, from my 67 seconds of research, they experimented many times over and settled on this blend. They also use Pappy Van Winkle barrels to age because they want nothing but the overhyped best.

In da nose I got blackberry and cigar smoke which is to be expected from this bourbon aged bullshit. In da mouf I got a lovely pepper spice up front followed by delicious red apples and red currant.

Y'all - I liked it. First bourbon aged wine that I really enjoyed from start to finish more than just a "eh, I'll drink it and get a lil' buzzed while I eat nachos." It's well balanced with fruit and spice for the whole bourbon aged deal - give her a try. I mean the Southern Belle or the wine - huehuehuehue.
