Review:

Sometimes I wish I liked box wine and bottom shelf turd booze so that I wasn't broke drinking all this dope ass wine. But here I am, here you are and here we go!

I've reviewed one other Prunotto product (you can see it here) and after that moment I became woke to the power of Prunotto. I tried this little number down in our resort in Dominican Republic and I was probably intoxicated. As with the last wine I tried I didn't have time to aerate appropriately so we let it sit for as long as humanly possible (not long). If you try this please aerate properly.

This 2014 was honestly still about a year from being ready to drink but we'll just assume the caribbean air made it mature quicker. In da nose I got roses, lavendar and maybe some violet. A ton of floral notes came off immediately and maybe even some herbs. I don't mind floral but I'm not crazy about herb-ey noses on wines so I deducted some points. In da mouf I got bright white cherries, clove and some cigar wrapping (very different than tobacco...). The mouthfeel was a damn Barolo so you know it was as beautiful as the rising phoenix.

You are not going to find a better priced Barolo. You can try but you'll be disappointed in your hunt. Go out there and buy up Prunotto products before I beat you with bamboo sticks.
