Review:

I received this bottle in a drug deal gone bad in a Ross’ parking lot so I figured it would be something that the Gods on Mount Olympus drink.

Pure Kentucky is from the same family as Willett and is sourced from UNKNOWN PLACES! Guess what else we don't know - age, mashbill, sexual orientation, etc. I find it funny when producers want to shroud a $40 whiskey in mystery - so spooooky. Anyway this is 107 proof which is nice to see and comes in an old timey squat bottle.

In da nose I got smoke, sweet cream and a bit of moss. It smelled like how one would expect an old bourbon to smell if stored in a place with mold. In da mouf I got wet wood, rye and anise on the finish.

This was a very unique bourbon and it was a bit refreshing to not taste caramel, cinnamon and vanilla again. That being said it's not something I want to drink all the time because I don't want soggy ass wood or moss in muh mouth. I think if you're a hipster and are into weird shit this will be your jam.
