Review:

Ol’ Allen throwing us some good booze again because he knows when we go to pour stuff at our own place we sigh and then sob wantingly of finer things.

This is Booker's batch 2014-06 which was the third "Roundtable" release where whiskey authors and notable folk get together and pick a batch to be released. I can only imagine my invite is soon to arrive. It came in at 127.7 proof after having been cooped up for 7 years 2 months and 14 days.

In da nose I got toasted marshmallow and a bushel of apples. Seriously there were apples all over this thing. APPLES FOR DAYS WE SAID! In da mouf I got cherry and brown sugar followed by a thiccc caramel finish. Now understand this - I HATE using the following notes: vanilla, brown sugar and caramel. If I put that in my review I got it in a very defining and overbearing way.

This was damn fine and whoever was involved in it (per the internetz it appears Chuck Cowdery who is a noted whiskey author) should be given copious moouth stuff. I encourage all of you to find someone with this and bribe them with food or "favors."
