Review:

A Bad Wine Reviews loyalist by the name of Allen let us try this vintage Baker's because he enjoys delicious torture. Think I can just go buy this lil' number? NO I CANNOT AND I'M REAL MAD.

Most of the time I don't mind straight up lying to you people but I've been trying to be better about researching actual facts about the bottles themselves (never the notes - I make those up on my own). There wasn't a lot out there about this one but Allen confirmed it is from the 90s and these early version Baker's were apparently produced in crazy large batches. This is 85-001 and I'm too lazy to email Jim Beam.

In da mouf I got orange peel and fresh cream. These older bourbons just smell so damn rich and sweet. In da mouf I got intense spices, marshmallow and figs on the finish.

You can't buy this openly so don't worry about hunting it down but if you're ever in some guy's bunker and he offers it to you please take the chance to sample. These older bourbons have such different profiles and tasting them is more fun than planning hits with Hillary.
