Old Weller Antique 107 Bourbon Poison Girl Pick Review
An anonymous, awesome BWR loyalist threw this badboy at me and I finally got around to trying it. I reviewed another Poison Girl pick here and one of the reasons I like them so much, aside from being delicious, is they are very limited and you can't just go get them. Pompous.
I don't know anything in particular about the pick. So let's get right into flavor town.
On da nose I got honeycomb and Karo Syrup that lingered in the olfactory for a hot minute or two. In da mouf I got no lie Hershey's Chocolate Syrup and candied apples. The mouthfeel isn't as bold as I expected it to be but the flavor overcomes this minor issue. It's certainly something very unique and not like any OWA I've ever had.
Once again these folks hit it out of the park with this pick. I certainly hope they do some more bottles that are a little more available. These people know what they're doing and I'll be sipping this one for a loooong time.
