Review:

If you want an exceptional wine to drink on a special event or to impress your snobby boss look no further. Silverado Solo is one of my absolute favorite wines that deserves the highest of praise.

I recommend decanting for 45 mins - 1 hour and serving in bordeaux, or similar, glasses. This wine should be paired with a big steak or Totino's pepperoni pizza. We had it today with Tomahawk Ribeyes and not a lot was said at the meal - just grotesque chomping and slurping.

On the nose you get vibrant berries while the palate is assaulted with pure excellence. It's the perfect balance of fruit and dryness that leaves you wanting to reach across the table and get the last glass. The finish is pleasant and gets you the perfect buzz before taking a 4 Horsemen shot.

While it is a pricier wine you will not regret dropping the drug money on this gem. You should be able to find it at Kroger and other nice wine retailers. Give it a try and tell me what you think!
