Review:

This is actually the first Russell's Reserve store pick I purchased from Liquor Hut here in Mont Belvieu, TX but forgot I never wrote her up. I reviwed the "Gobsmacked" pick that came out this year and you can read all about it here.

So I definitely prefer the Gobsmacked one to this. While this is good it lacked the complexity that the British slang brought to the table. In da nostrils I get banana nut bread and in da mouf I got cinnamon and peppercorns. The one thing I did quite enjoy about this, and most RR picks, is the intense mouthfeel. Feels like ya got the tinglies all over your mouth.

Again it lacked any complexity once the initial taste hit your mouth which is sad because I pompously expect these bottles to FUCKIN' MUTATE as it is swirled 'round. I don't think it's still available but if you want to try hit me up and I'll hook ya up.
