2015 Wooden Winery Barn Door Blend Review
Review:
I know what you're thinking. This looks like a gimmick. I thought the same thing - bottle is supposed to make you stop and be like OMG THAT'S COOL! I cheated by getting a sample in the stow and it intrigued me so I stuck it in the cart along with some Plan B.
I put this wine in a decanter because I was a little drunk but I'm pretty sure you don't need to do that. On the nose I got subtle notes of clove and oak which caused my nipples to become alert. In da mouf, I got strong blackberry flavors with medium style tannins which balanced well with the oakey smell. I would drink the hell out of this with some steak and a big ol' potato.
Nothing gimmicky here - I would buy it and let your guests ooh and ahhh over the bottle.
