Review:

Unbeknownst to me this bottle has been hiding in the back of my war room for about 2 years and that's wildly unacceptable. I think a part of me thought it was just the normal rye so I abandoned it like a Joseph Kony ethics class. Either way I'm ready to drink some brown liquid.

There's a lot of love/hate surrounding Michter's because they like to be secretive and sneaky about things but they put out some hypetastic products. I have noticed a dropoff in some of their products so not sure if that is attributed to some of their own distillate making it into the booze or just several years being bomb as hell. Thank God this is a 2016 so I can be up its ass.

In da nose I got delicious coffee and some french vanilla creamer. You know the one that comes in the individual plastic thing that's in every office and car dealership ever? The nose on these barrel strength ryes are incredible - I'm not sure there's a lot of other whiskies that can compare in the nose game. In da mouf I get sour apples with the caramel dip on the front that finishes off into graham crackers and dark chocolate. It's like an almost s'more!

This is one of those bottles I held on to for whatever absurd reason and I'm so glad I did. I know this is a huge shock but this one has also become allocated so practice mouth stuff so you can use it to get a bottle from your local shopkeep.
