Review:

Don’t ask where I got this because it’s just best I never think of this beautiful, perfect liquid ever again. Let's discuss this 2006 George T. Stagg mkayyyy!

This is the seventh iteration of the George T. Stagg series and tenth highest in proof (140.6) since its creation. I've heard as you go back in time the Stagg releases are unbelievable but I'LL BE THE JUDGE OF THAT! Just kidding - it's probably about to blow my face off.

In da nose I got bacon, oak and chocolate covered raisins. The oak comes through hard making you think it's going to be an over-oaked disappointment. As you diver deeper into the aromas you find that bacon and choco-raisins hiding. In da mouf I got Morello Cherry and sweet tobacco with a beautiful finish of cocoa chocolate.

The high proof goes right to the nose when you drink it but there is minimal burn which is unbelievable at this proof. This would be the perfect drink to have with some weird chick who likes to watch the Nightmare Before Christmas while she cries about her deadbeat dad. Absolutely incredible bourbon that I won't soon forget (contrary to my kickoff statement).
