My name is Darryl and I drink and review alcohol. Badly. But that's ok. Because most of us don't care about why a drink is SUPPOSED to be "good" but rather IF it's "good" and that is precisely why I started Bad Wine Reviews.

Most reviews on alcohol are overly serious, pompous and technical. If that's what you're into then this is not the site for you. I aim to give you, the people, the tools and resources to start building flavor profiles so that you can navigate the incredibly diverse and amazing world that is alcohol. I know it can be overwhelming walking into a store surrounded by thousands of bottles and it would be nice to not pick something based on the label - I'm here for you and Bad Wine Reviews is here for you.

I'm excited about what Bad Wine Reviews is setting out to do but more importantly I'm learning so much more about the world I love - booze! I hope you learn something here too and get a laugh out of the absolute absurdity that are portions of this site. Thanks for stopping by.
