2015 Nice Wines "Courage" Red Blend Review
Here is another wine from Nice Wines which if my tallies are correct this would be their 367th wine. Well maybe that's an exaggeration but everytime I turn around they have something new and delicious out there. I'm not sure how they keep up with everything but they need to chill.
The Courage name is dedicated to first responders - the previous vintage was bottled around the time of Hurricane Harvey and this one was bottled right around the time of the California wildfires. Hard to be mad about that unless the wine sucks but it doesn't so they're ok.
In da nostrils this wine has nice oak and leather notes with a tiny ounce of blackberry thrown in there. In da mouf I get a pleasant strawberry jam taste but it's absolutely not thick and jammy which WOULD MAKE ME IRATE! This wine has very light tannins and an easy finish that would pair brilliantly with being carried down a fireman's ladder by a sweaty dude.
This wine is priced appropriately and I think you should absolutely give it a chance. Let it air for about 30 minutes and then you will think of me as it's in your mouth.
