Review:

Tropical Storm Imelda has come through over the past 48 hours and has been a complete bitch about things. Crying everywhere and putting all this rain into places that can't handle it. Like she just decided to bring her shit over without asking and slowly moving in. Kinda fucked up, man. Anyway, let's talk about some wine now.

This wine is from Josh Cellars which is under the daddy company of Joseph Carr. A lot of people like to shit on Josh wines but Josh knows who they market to. Lookin' at you, sexually frustrated suburban moms. This is one of their blends that features a majority of merlot and zin. I love both of those and I like both of those blended together.

In da nose I got a very rich nose of espresso, butter and strawberries. It smelled like I was in a coffee shop that was also milking cows or something in the back. In da mouf I got cherry and a bit of tobacco up front. On the finish there was some bitterness that reminded me of ginger.

I'll be honest. This wasn't bad. This wasn't bad at all. For $14 you can barely buy a good time in Thailand let alone a very drinkable wine. I may work this into my cleaning the house in my boxers rotation because I enjoyed it when I wasn't thinking about it. If you turn your nose up at this wine we're probably never going to be friends so pbbttthhh.
