Review:

My wife snuck this damn bottle into our order at Nice Wines the other day so here I am reviewing it. Let's do this.

This is a majority blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with some other things sprinkled on like garnishes. Cab Sauv and Merlot work together like the meme of Arnold and Carl handshakin' and musclin'. You've got the earthy expressions of the Cab and the fruitastic explosion of Merlot working in unison like happy-go-lucky sweatshop workers.

In da nose I get blackberry and mud. I know that seems silly but I honestly smell that earth-mud combination and that's not negative - earth and fruit were meant to be together like Ivory and Chinese businessmen. In da mouf I get a wide array of fruits - plum, Fiji apple (yeah, I picked 'em out okay?) and cherry. It's not overly sweet or jammy so I'm a happy Darryl. The tannins are perfectly grippy but I do have to say the finish lacks a little as it tumbles off the cliff like a lemming.

I haven't seen this particular bottle in stores but you can absolutely pick it up at their shop for the kickass price of $35. It's a fantastic wine to have with food, at a nudist's house or just bummin' around in your skivvies. Either way, another gem by Nice!
