Review:

One of the things about barrel picks that can be annoying is low proof and not a lot of variation between them and the regular shelf product. Knob Creek picks, however, have a pretty nice bottling point for their single barrel program at 120 proof. For some people this is either immediate heartburn, coughing or pure, unadulterated love.

I haven't been wildly impressed overall with Knob Creek store picks. I think they tend to have way too much spice to fruit ratio which means the higher proof plus the spice is like a Red Hot and Jalapeno convention in your mouth. Is this one different?!?! Read on to find out!

In da nose I got vanilla. That's it. Just vanilla. In the beginning there was vanilla and it said, "Sup, I'm vanilla." In da mouf I got that raging pepper and cinnamon taste that was like so many before it. I rarely have to add water to something to enjoy it but this one needed it.

This wasn't for me but there are those of you out there that like this kind of punishment so feel free to get after it if you would like.
