Review:

I know very little about this bottle. Granted, I know very little most of the time but I had to research this bottle to even begin typing about it. This actually made tasting it much more interesting with zero pre-conceived notions MUCH LIKE THE AVERAGE AMERICAN VOTER VOTING FOR THE PRESIDENT AMIRITE LMAOOOOO!

This is a blend of 16 (30%) and 9 (70%) year old bourbons selected by this guy 98% of you don't know and don't care about - for trivia purposes at your local watering hole his name is Fred Noe. This bottling celebrates the thirtieth anniversary of the founding of Booker's bourbon by Booker Noe (THAT DUDE'S DAD ABOVE WHOAAAA!).

This bad boy is bottled at 125.8 proof which means if you can't handle heat you may want to drop some water in there. In da nostrils I got peanut brittle and hazelnut. Reminded me a bit of a German Christmas market except I wasn't already drunk screaming about schnitzel and Kristallnacht. In da mouf the front had bright citrus notes followed by some smokey oak. On the finish the oak became more prominent and lingered for several minutes. I was a bit surprised there would be so much oak but I'm also surprised by things like venmo and uber.

Overall I was a bit underwhelmed by this bottle. I'm not sure what I expected but yeah. Glad I didn't drop retail, or God forbid secondary prices, because then I'd have to cry and yell at my family.
