Review:

My aunt-in-law posted this one up on the Facebook Page and wanted little ol’ me to review it. So here we are in less than 12 hours after the post - that’s how Bad Wine Reviews works, y’all. I deliver as promised and hard as s*. Right now I am watching West Virginia / Oklahoma and Washington / Washington State and life is really good. Let’s talk about some wine.

I don’t know anything about this vintner or this wine so I asked my wife to pick it up while she was out Black Fridaying. I opened it up and at $12 you don’t expect a lot right? You typically expect that heavy alcohol and fruit smell with $12 of regret. However, I didn’t find that with this wine.

The nose was surprisingly tame with dark cherry and blackberry notes that I could picture sniffing whilst I watched American Horror Story on Netflix. The wine was not jammy at all - it’s the perfect wine to drink while you’re rooting against West Virginia and everything they stand for. In all seriousness I got plum and clove notes on the palate.

If you’re looking for a bargain wine that delivers big then look no more! I recommend enjoying with some bad TV in your pajamas and with a bag of Doritos.
